Kathryn Kean (bighornracing.com), Dave’s sister 13 years his junior, is responsible for all the website design of both SitDownBeforeReading.com and ActiveMSers.org. The mother of three young children finds time between loads of laundry, cooking and carpooling, i.e., Tuesday mornings before 9:30.

Randall Doser (linkedin.com), a longtime follower of ActiveMSers, volunteered his expertise as an actuary to help parse data for SDBR. Randall is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries with sophisticated data science skills and is using those skills to crunch statistics and make estimates and projections.

Wyatt Goodell (wyattgoodell.com), a friend of Dave’s since essentially birth, is a graphic designer from Colorado with a background in advertising design, logo design and illustration. He works behind the scenes on the audiobook, social media outreach, and provides essential input as a Gen Z consultant.

Marigold Kitzmiller (marigoldkitzmiller.com), an artist studying at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, designed and illustrated the official book cover for Sit Down Before Reading. The cover features three female ticks—the type that transmit Lyme disease—which have been drawn to scale, about the size of a sesame seed.
